m_diddy04 asked: connected to a wireless router; my ISP service is Verizon DSL. The software has been installed correctly to my knowledge. Yet, it still says that a wireless network is unavailable.
I’ve fiddled around with the network connections in Control Panel, no luck. What should I do? Is there anything in particular?

drkslvr8 asked: I have a desktop running Windows XP Home, a laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium, and an ethernet cross over cable. How do I set up the computers so I can share files between them? Neither are on any type of network (The only internet I have is dialup). Both have a base 10/100 network card.

Vendetta asked: I’m looking for a wire interface between two pcs (laptop and desktop) to temporarily share files. I can’t use wireless in this office and my laptop lacks a parallel and serial port.
I’d like to see each computer’s harddisk as an external drive.
Can I use a male to male USB cable connected to each computer?
What other options do I have?
thanks
Carol

Hal was a Spectrum ZX asked: As far as I know, Tablet PC is like a laptop but with other flexible features but I do not see many people with Table PCs and I do not see that is sold as well as the laptops.
Do you know why in particular?
Does it need more time to start to see people buying tablet PCs? do they have any disadvantage that makes table PC be less sold?
Would be interesting to see opinions about this.
Thanks in advance.
Francis

eyolar2001 asked: I have two desktop PCs hardwired to the modem and a laptop that uses our home wireless network. Everything works great until about 11 PM EVERY NIGHT when the wireless goes out on the laptop. What is up with this? When I check the settings, everything looks great, just no internet access on the laptop. What is happening here? The wireless internet is always just fine by the morning. My ISP is Verizon.
