Mike P asked: Any suggestions about the screen size and type of the laptop?
I have allways worked with desktop PCs but since I am taking a university course, I will definitely need a laptop at school.
Any suggestions what kind of laptop would be good?

m_diddy04 asked: connected to a wireless router; my ISP service is Verizon DSL. The software has been installed correctly to my knowledge. Yet, it still says that a wireless network is unavailable.
I’ve fiddled around with the network connections in Control Panel, no luck. What should I do? Is there anything in particular?

Rudy asked: I have a linksys wireless G router connected to 2 desktop pcs (both with xp pro) and 1 laptop (on vista) The laptop disconnects and reconnects every few minutes or at least every hour. Is there something I can do to the laptop or the router settings to fix this?

BillC asked: I’m trying to access my network that is about 2 blocks away.
What I am looking for is a wireless card that can pick up the wireless signal over a distance of 2 city blocks away. I have tried something called super G and also super G+, and neither one was strong enough to pick up the network. I can pick up the network on my notebook when I walk just outside my door, but it is gone for 2-3 weeks having the system board replaced (for the 3rd time).

Hi asked: Lets say I had a hard drive, which I boot from already installed in a my Dell desktop, and I had another hard drive installed in my, currently non-working, Gateway desktop. Could I take the hard drive out of my Gateway desktop and put it in the Dell desktop in order to view the data on without removing the Dell desktops hard drive? Do desktops have a two or more openings to put hard drives in side their body when you open the casing? Please elaborate.
