Can I install MS Office on my desktop AND notebook?

RedThread asked:

I use a desktop at the office and a notebook when I’m out of the office.

I use Adobe Creative Suite 3, and it was very easy to confirm (multiple times) with them that my license allows me to install and use CS3 on both my desktop and notebook, AS LONG AS BOTH ARE NOT BEING USED AT THE SAME TIME, which would mean there were multiple users.

However, getting information on this subject from Microsoft is not so easy.

Does anyone have a difinitive answer on this? Can I install MS Office on my desktop and notebook PCs as long as I’m the single user and never use both at the same time?

If you have an answer, can you back it up with a link to a microsoft document that addresses this issue?

DBoren23 asked:

I can use the USB cord to hook the printer up to my desktop and a bluetooth adapter to hook it up to my laptop (I think). Is it possible to be hooked up to both computers at the same time? Also, is there a certain brand of bluetooth adapter that I must buy, or will any of them work? Or would it be easier to set up a 2 computer network with a USB direct connect cable? I don’t know what to do! My computer is an Acer Inspiron 5672 with built in bluetooth. Thanks!

eyolar2001 asked:

I have two desktop PCs hardwired to the modem and a laptop that uses our home wireless network. Everything works great until about 11 PM EVERY NIGHT when the wireless goes out on the laptop. What is up with this? When I check the settings, everything looks great, just no internet access on the laptop. What is happening here? The wireless internet is always just fine by the morning. My ISP is Verizon.

bjmarchini asked:

These optical mice have been around for over ten years now. I could understand cutting cost, but I can buy a new basic MS optical mouse for $10.

At home I don’t care, but at work I always get stuck using this ball mouse on a 1 year old dell. drives me nuts.

I understand that a ball mouse may have uses, but they should optional at this point and not standard

taylor asked:

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 531s, which is a slim model. It’s only about 4 inches wide. My old network card did not fit as it was too wide. What kind of network card should I get? I was thinking I could get a laptop network card since those are very small, but I don’t know if that would be compatible with my desktop pc.. So any suggestions?
